Services and Fees

Fees

My services begin with a complimentary interview, where we discuss your expectations of your birth and how I will best be able to assist you. Should we decide to work together, a signed contract agreement, disclosure agreement and deposit will be collected.

I accept cash, check, paypal and credit cards on site.

I will assist with hospital births (natural, medicated or
cesarean section), Birthing Center births and Home Births when attended by a Midwife. I will not assist in an unattended home birth.

My standard fee is $400.00. I ask for a $200.00 retainer at the time you contract my services. The remaining $200.00 will be due within one month after the birth. I offer a Military Discount, payment plans and also have a sliding scale for low income families and families in crisis. I truly do love my work and I fully stand behind the Dona policy of a "Doula for every woman that wants one".

For an additional fee I offer antepartum doula services to teen mothers, high risk mothers and mothers on bed rest. Please click on the "Antepartum Services" link to see what I offer and my list of separate fees.

Once contracted, I request that you contact me at the onset of labor. Even if you don't need me yet, I would like to be informed so I have time to prepare. If I am not contacted in time or miss the labor due to a lack of communication on your part you are still obligated to pay in full. If an unforeseen event takes place and you are unable to contact me or the labor went too quickly I shall keep my retainer but no further payment will be due.

If you desire my services and feel you need to make payment arrangements or need me to offer a sliding scale, please feel free to call me and ask for a consult. I will do my very best to work with you and ensure you have the labor support I believe all women are entitled to.
